Been driving 15+ miles after moving away from Downey to go get eats here. Food has remained consistently good since my first visits as a young child 30 years ago.

Quesadillas, red or green are amazing. Don't forget to let them sit and cool down a bit. Much easier to eat! And, we can't say enough about the chicken flautas. If we have time, we stop every time we are back in town. Worth making a special trip!

I grew up eating at el taco many fond memories with family here. I come here as often as I can . If you come here you will not be disappointed in the food ,and for the prices of the day its still a good value here.

This is the OG place and it's all the best food. It's sooo tasty. It was so good and I was so excited to get to have it I mowed it down and forgot to take pics. I had a sloppy Joe combo and we shared a red sauce quesadilla and washed it down with a piña colada bang! Perfectly satisfying.

Food is great feels very fresh. I have no complaints with this place. Except for the employees always look at you a certain way when you ask for extra salsa like, come on, it's just salsa. I get that every penny. Adds up but Jesus its just salsa

Was damned good. May be one of the best quesadillas I’ve ever had. Beef burrito was tasty and the flautas were great.
